Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC6 0710, 1 specimen, 380 m depth.

Habitat. Interstitial species, world records are scarce; inhabiting rhizomes of Posidonia oceanica and algal remains with retained sand (Alós 1988), amphioxus sands and maërl beds (Campoy 1982).The maximum depth of collection in the Canary Islands at 380 m.

Distribution. Amphi-Atlantic, being the Canary Islands its southernmost limit in the Eastern Atlantic (Banquete Bank, off Fuerteventura). The species is recorded for the first time for the Canary Islands.
