Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC18 0611, 2 specimens, 967 m depth; BC19, 1 specimen, 1096 m depth; BC3 0710, 1 specimen, 353 m depth; BC7 0710, 1 specimen; BC8 0710, 1 specimen, 87 m depth.

Habitat. Muddy and sandy substrates, from 87–1000 m depth.

Distribution. Adriatic and Aegean Seas (Licher 1999). Amnay and Banquete Banks (Canary Islands). The species is recorded for the first time for the Canary Islands.
