Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC11 0611, 4 specimens, 719 m depth; BC17 0611, 1 posterior fragment, 833 m depth; BC18 0611, 2 specimens 967 depth; BC19 0611, 1 specimen 1096 depth.

Habitat. On hard substrates (dead corals and stones), from 1091 to 1132 m depth (Lucas et al. 2012), and in soft substrates with a predominance of coarse sand, from 719 to 833 m depth.

Distribution. Artabro Gulf (Galicia, NW Spain) (Lucas et al. 2012) and Amanay Bank (off Fuerteventura). First record from the Canary Islands.
