Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC2 0710, 1 specimen, 129 m depth; BC8 0710, 1 specimen, 87 m depth; BC7 0611, 1 specimen, 122 m depth.

Habitat. In sandy sediments of marine caves of 8 to 15 m depth, located on the southwest coast of Tenerife, being cited as P. aff tetralix (Riera et al. 2016); in circalittoral sediments between 80 to 90 m.

Distribution. Atlantic-Mediterranean, from Scandinavia to the Canary Islands.
