Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC9 0710, 1 specimen, 132 m depth; BC9 0611, 2 specimens, 132 m; BC15 0611, 2 specimens, 407 m depth.

Habitat. An euribatic species, with a bathymetric range from shallow waters to more than 400 m depth. Submareal photophilic algae, sand substrates and endobiontic of demosponges.

Distribution. Canary Islands (Central-Eastern Atlantic).
