Distribution: N Venezuela.

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Placed in trinitatus group by Patton (1987). Formerly included in guyannensis (Reig et al., 1980) . Included within guairae by Eisenberg (1989). Karyotype has 2n=62 and FN=88 (Reig and Useche, 1976).
