Occurrence: Austria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland (WPC 2023).

Known localities in Hungary: Nagykovácsi; Tenkes Hill (Novák 2020).

New data: nil.

Habitat preference: this species has been collected from the leaf litter of oak forest (Novák 2020).

Remarks: Occidenchthonius parmensis was recently reported from south-western and central locations in Hungary.
