Occurrence: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland (WPC 2023).

Known localities in Hungary: Egyek: Ohati Forest (Mahnert 1983). Fényi Fores t (Mahnert 1990).

New data: nil.

Habitat preference: unknown.

Remarks: there is little data on this species in Hungary, where it is known from protected lowland forests of the Great Hungarian Plain (Mahnert 1983, 1990). In Slovakia it has been found in ant nests (Christophoryová et al. 2017b).
