Occurrence: Slovakia (Gulička, 1977), Hungary (Duchác & Mlejnek 2000).
Known localities in Hungary: Aggtelek karst: Meteor Cave (Duchác & Mlejnek 2000).

Habitat preference: this species is restricted to cavernicolous habitats.
Remarks: Neobisium (B.) slovacum was described from caves in the Slovakian Karst (Gulička 1977), and it was subsequently found in the Meteor Cave in Hungary, which is located on the Hungarian side of the same karstic area (Duchác & Mlejnek 2000).
