DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENT: Placed in Zygodontomys by Gardner and Patton, 1976, Occas. Pap. Mus. Zool. La. St. Univ., 49:41; but placed in Oryzomys by Hershkovitz, 1970, J. Mammal., 51:792. Known only by the holotype.
