COMMENT: Tentatively included in Scapteromys by Cabrera, 1961:475, and in Akodon by Hershkovitz, 1966, Z. Saugetierk., 31:96; but see Massoia, 1980, Ameghiniana, 17:280-287, who included labiosus in Bibimys .
