Reared specimens. MASSACHUSETTS: Franklin Co., Northfield, 42.646871, -72.426410, 24.viii.2018, em. 13– 19.v.2019, C.S. Eiseman, ex Populus tremuloides, # CSE5260 (3 adults, MLBM) .

Hosts. * Salicaceae: Populus tremuloides Michx.; all previous records have been of adults on unspecified Populus and Salix (Clark et al. 2004) .

Biology. Larvae form blackish, upper-surface leaf mines like those of other Zeugophora spp. (Fig. 121). Eight larvae emerged from the five leaves collected; the last of these burrowed into soil on 28 August.
