Reared specimen. OKLAHOMA: Payne Co., Mehan, 36.014339° N, - 96.996744° W, 25.viii.2018, em. 17.ix.2018, M.W. Palmer, ex Paspalum pubiflorum, # CSE5057 (1 adult, MLBM) .

Host. * Poaceae: Paspalum pubiflorum Rupr. ex E. Fourn. While ours is the first rearing record for this species, adults have previously been collected on P. pubiflorum and P. setaceum Michx. (Clark et al. 2004) .

Biology. The egg is deposited in an excavation in the upper leaf surface and partially covered with what appears to be chewed leaf material. The single collected mine is irregular in shape, in the central portion of the leaf (not reaching the margins, base, or apex), and is mostly full-depth but appears patchy on the lower surface due to the midrib and a few other areas remaining green (Fig. 24). It is about 60 mm long and 2–7 mm wide. Frass is scattered throughout the mine in irregular particles.
