Material examined: Angola, 1 ex., Nº 1907 (blue label), old collection, box nº IX-78, MZUC .

Remarks. The adult specimen of MZUC despite be very old and damaged (Fig. 13g), fits well this species description. The adults are generally associated with ants or termits, but the larvae can be found on decaying organic matter. Malec & Šípek (2016) refer that it is possible to rear adults from wild larvae. It is a new genus/species record for Angola.
