Lectotype (Seybold in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 513. 2001): Herb. Clifford: 311, Marrubium 3 (BM-000646084) .

Current name: Marrubium peregrinum L. ( Lamiaceae).

Note: Lacaita (in J. Linn. Soc., Bot. 47: 159-163. 1925) provided a detailed examination of the different elements associated with this name, but did not formally designate a type.
