Current name: Melaleuca leucadendra (L.) L. ( Myrtaceae).

Note: Merrill (Interpret. Rumph. Herb. Amb.: 33, 402. 1917) indicated Rumphius’ plates and descriptions as the type, but did not distinguish between the two plates (2: t. 16 and t. 17).
