Note: Rankin & Greuter (in Willdenowia 34: 261. 2004) attribute the type choice to Fawcett & Rendle’s earlier account (in J. Bot. 52: 142. May 1914), where they use the expression "founded upon". However, this is not accepted here as effecting typification.
