Current name: Mesembryanthemum villosum L. ( Aizoaceae).

Note: Gerbaulet (in Hartmann, Ill. Handb. Succ. Pl., Aizoaceae F–Z: 167. 2001) suggests this may be a species of Aizoon, and it shows the greatest similarity with A. karooicum Compton. The Linnaean name does not appear to be in use and there is no original material extant.
