CHOROTYPE. — SW Alpine (orophilous).

ECOLOGY. — Screes, upper montane-alpine, mesophilous, xerophilous.

EDIT PROJECT SAMPLING. — Not found. Perhaps extinct in the area (see Rocci 1911).

NOTE Elsewhere in the region, only reported from Balma della Frema, at 2300 m, very close to the border between Italy and France.
