Definition. Iotrochotidae with smooth megascleres normally differentiated in two categories, longer and thinner monactinal (styles) or diactinal spicules (usually strongyles) and shorter and thicker styles or diactinal spicules, which do not have distinct localization in ectosomal and choanosomal regions.
