Remarks: The existence of this species in Canada probably needs confirmation. As Christiansen & Bellinger wrote (1980, p. 574), “we have seen no Nearctic specimens of P. clavipila (Axelson), as redefined by Fjellberg (1973a); specimens identified by Folsom as minuta f. “clavipila” presumably also belong to minuta ”.
General distribution: all recent reliable records are restricted to Europe.
