C. exilis (Gisin, 1960)
– Isotomina exilis Gisin, 1960: 320
BC Battigelli & Marshall 1993, cf.; Cannings 2010
Remarks: The presence of this species in North America was confirmed by Bernard’s comparison (1977) of a paratype from Germany and material from Michigan. Nevertheless, some minor distinctions between his description of C. exilis and specimens from the Palaearctic still exist (Thibaud et al. 1999) and more study is needed to confidently place Nearctic and Palaearctic specimens.
General distribution: Holarctic.
