Remarks: This species has definitely been recorded from the western to easternmost regions of the Palaearctic, i.e. from Scandinavia to North Korea, but its presence in the Nearctic is doubtful. For instance, Fjellberg (1985, p. 102) believed that “the species called tullbergi Sch ӧtt by earlier authors (Hammer 1953, Christiansen & Bellinger 1980)” was in fact A. beringi and not truly A. tullbergi .

General distribution: Holarctic, but North American records are questionable.
