Remarks: This is a true Arctic species and its presence in southern parts of Canada is doubtful. Moreover, most of the above records from the Canadian Arctic Archipelago appear to belong to H. concolor, but not H. tullbergi . It should be noted that Wahlgren (1907) and Folsom (1919) listed this species as Achorutes tullbergi var. concolor . Later, until Fjellberg’s redescription (1985), only the name tullbergi was used by American authors.

General distribution: almost circumpolar, but there are still no reliable records from Greenland (Fjellberg 2015) and the Canadian Arctic.
