H. ireneae (Wray, 1953)
– Achorutes ireneae Wray, 1953: 2
AK Christiansen & Bellinger 1980, 1998; Skidmore 1995; Babenko & Fjellberg 2006, cf.
Remarks: Christiansen & Bellinger (1980, p. 99) wrote that their Alaskan record of H. ireneae is “uncertain”. After redescription of Wray’s types (Bernard 2015), it became clear that H. ireneae can be considered a senior synonym of H. oregonensis and that a “comparison of type material is necessary to determine the limits of these species” (Bernard 2015, p. 316).
General distribution: Nearctic.
