Geographical distribution. Southeastern and Gulf States from North Carolina to Florida and eastern Texas to southern Mexico (Oaxaca, Tamaulipas, Veracruz).

Material examined: 1 specimen, 14–25 km NE of Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, Mexico, 23 June, 2016, beating, J. Rifkind & E.Martinez collector (LGBC). New state record .
