(AM W.45752); West of Dili, off Tibar, on outer side of reef, rubble and sandy reef slope, 08°33’48”S 125°28’31”E, mixed algae and dead coral rubble and sponges, 7-9 m depth, 21 Sep 2012, coll. L.E. Habitat. Intertidal to shallow waters, among coral rubble, algae (San Martín et al. 2008a) and sponges (Álvarez-Campos et al. 2012).

Distribution. Australia (Central Western Australia), southern Japan (San Martín et al. 2008a), Indonesia (Aguado et al. 2008), Philippines (Álvarez-Campos et al. 2012), Red Sea (Abd- Elnaby 2019). First record for East Timor.
