Material examined. EAST TIMOR. W of Dili, off Tibar, on outer side of reef, reef slope, 08°33’48”S 125°28’31” E, Porites lobata lump, 7,5 m, 21 Sep 2012, coll. A. Murray, 1 spec. (AM W.53035) .

Habitat. Present in virtually all coastal environments, mostly on hard bottoms, and less abundant in sandy bottoms (San Martín 2003).

Distribution. Apparently cosmopolitan (San Martín 2003; Lucas et al.2020), most likely referring to a speciescomplex. First record for East Timor.
