Brachystethus cribrus (Fabricius, 1781)

Distribution. Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia.

Distribution in Colombia. Cundinamarca, Meta, and Valle del Cauca.

Remarks. Brachystethus cribus has the abdominal sternites with longitudinal series of yellowish spots, the antennal segment IV is medially swollen, and the processes of the pygophore are conspicuously visible dorsally.
