Dryptocephala Laporte, 1832

This genus can be recognized by having the first labial segment just reaching the anterior margin of the prosternum, a cylindrical metatibia, with a narrow dorsal groove or impressed line, and the scutellum not surpassing the abdominal tergite V (Ruckes 1966c).
