Genus Homaloxestis Meyrick, 1910

Type species: Homaloxestis endocma Meyrick, 1910 .

The genus Homaloxestis comprises about 50 described species. Of these, four species, Homaloxestis cholopis (Meyrick, 1906), H. lophophora Janse, 1954, H. subpallida Meyrick, 1931 and H. rawlinsi Park, 2018 are known from the Afrotropical Region.
