Remarks: The species has been described by Karaman S. in 1929 from Skoplje. In Karaman S. (1943) the species is also located in Bitola, close to the present borders of Greece with the Republic of North Macedonia. It has been reported from Lefkada Island by Karaman G.S. (1972) with no further description.
Etymology: The species is named after Skoplje, the capital of the Republic of North Macedonia and type locality of the species.
