Lectotype (Paton in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 519. 2001): [icon] " Scutellaria fol. non serrato " in Rivinus, Ordo Pl. Fl. Monopetal.: 15, t. 77. 1690.

Current name: Scutellaria hastifolia L. ( Lamiaceae).

Note: Stearn (in Biol. J. Linn. Soc. 5: 12. 1973), in an account of Linnaeus’ Öland and Gotland journey of 1741, treated Bunge in Gotland as the restricted type locality but did not refer to any material. In his paper, he attributed restricted type localities irrespective of whether any material existed in LINN and, where specimens do exist, he does not refer to any of them as type specimens.
