Annona fuscata Carvalho & Schaffner (Fig. 9-F)

Annona fuscata Carvalho & Schaffner, 1977:259 (original description).

Diagnosis. Color pattern highly variable. A. fuscata may be distinguished from other species by the following characteristics: male genitalia with branched secondary gonopore; left paramere strongly curved and narrowing toward the apex. Pronotum light brown with areas of calli fuscous to black often continuous across the middorsal line; disk of pronotum varying from entirely brown to brown with two variable-sized fuscous to dark fuscous areas on the posterior portion; humeral angles usually fuscous. The area around the procoxal cleft is dark fuscous to black, reaching the ventral margin behind the cleft. Hemelytron membrane has a broad median and a longitudinal fuscous band extending from the apex to near the base. Ostiolar peritreme uniformly pale. (Carvalho & Schaffner 1977).
