Diagnosis. Species shiny black; head, pronotum, and scutellum black; femora infuscate; hemelytra whitish or yellowish with a dark bar through the middle of the corium reaching the embolium; commissure and apex of the clavus black; and cuneus, veins, and base of the membrane dark. Plant Associations. Heliconiaceae: Heliconia psittacorum L.f. (Carvalho 1945C; Nogueira et al. 2019A).
