Comments.

This species remains Gryon based on the original description "Frontal depression shallow, smooth, shining, with distinct longitudinal carina, almost reaching the anterior ocellus," and Figure 1 - 4 which illustrates the presence of facial striae and a somewhat protruding clypeus.
