Comments.

Kozlov (1963a) presented some characters that indicate that this species belongs in Gryon: mandibles bidentate, "Head, surface of thorax... with delicate alveolate sculpturing". Figures 9-9 and 9 - 15 in this description illustrate reduced wing venation that is noteworthy.
