Type host. Common greenshank, Tringa nebularia (Gunnerus) (Syn. Totanus glottis [Gunnerus]) ( Charadriiformes: Scolopacidae).
Type locality. Type locality unknown; given as Dongebiet (Also spelled Don-Bebiet), Rostov, southern Russian Federation- Yamaguti (1958, 1971).
Additional host. Eurasian coot, Fulica atra Linnaeus ( Gruiformes: Rallidae).
Additional locality. Turkistan, Russian Federation, specific locality unknown—Yamaguti (1971). Remarks. This species was originally described as Cyclocoelum (Antepharyngeum) goliath Witenberg, 1923 . It was considered a synonym of Cyclocoelum mutabile (Zeder, 1800) by Dubois (1959). This species was transferred to Harrahium by Dollfus (1948). It has a genital pore that is located posterior to the mid-level of the pharynx (postpharyngeal) and the vitelline fields are not confluent posteriorly, placing it in Selfcoelum . No oral or ventral sucker described—Witenberg (1923).
