Diagnosis. Cyclocoelidae; Hyptiasminae. Body, lanceolate to linguiform, sometimes tapered anteriorly. Rudimentary oral sucker present or not; rudimentary ventral sucker sometimes present. Genital pore postpharyngeal. Ovary intertesticular nearly in line with the tandem, or nearly tandem testes near posterior arch of cyclocoel. Uterine coils commonly intertesticular overreaching ceca laterally in some species, not invading posttesticular space. Vitelline fields not confluent posteriorly. Parasites in body cavity, air sacs and lungs of birds.
