A. undulatus Canavan, 1934

Type host. Lilford’s crane, Megalornis grus lilfordi Müller ( Gruiformes: Gruidae).

Type locality. Canavan (1934) gave two localities for this host: Eastern Siberia, Russian Federation; northwestern India; specific type locality unknown.

Remarks. Canavan (1934) provided an incomplete description and a low resolution photograph of this species in which he provided only measurements of the body length and width. It was transferred to Morishitium by Yamaguti (1958). It was considered to be Pseudhyptiasmus undulatus (Canavan, 1934) by Dollfus (1948). Note that in his comparison of this species to A. adolphi, Canavan (1934) indicated that the genital pore of A. adolphi was prepharyngeal, but in the original description of A. adolphi by Stossich (1902) it was described as being postpharyngeal.
