M. petrowi (Oganesov, 1959)

Type host. Common blackbird, Turdus merula aterrimus (Madarász) ( Passeriformes: Turdidae). Type locality. Republic of Azerbaidzhan, specific type locality unknown.

Remarks. This species was originally described by Oganesov (1959) as Cyclocoelum (Pseudhyptiasmus) petrowi Oganesov, 1959 . It was transferred to Morishitium by Yamaguti (1971). Rudimentary oral sucker present— Oganesov (1959).
