Material examined. CHINA, Xizang: 1♂ 1♀, Shenhu, Jilong Town, Jilong County, 2772 m, 11.VII.2019, leg. MJ Qi & JQ Deng, slide No. ZXJ19355 ♂ ; 1♂, Chongse Village, Jilong Town, Jilong County, 2640 m, leg. MJ Qi & JQ Deng, slide No. ZXJ19336 .

Adult (Fig. 14). Forewing length 5.0–6.0 mm.

Diagnosis. Meleonoma montana is similar to M. facialis Li & Wang, 2002 in structures of the male genitalia. It can be distinguished by the absence of dark scales on the third segment of the labial palpus (Fig. 14), and the sacculus with a lobate upper process (Fig. 36). In M. facialis, the third segment of the labial palps has dark scales, and the sacculus has a rounded upper process (Li & Wang 2002: 230, fig.1).

Distribution. China (Xizang), Nepal.

Note. The species is newly recorded from China.
