Colletes montanus Morawitz 1876

Colletes montana Morawitz 1876: 262 –263. Type locality: “Iskander-Kul’ Lake, Anzobskii Pass, Alai” (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan).

Current status. A junior subjective synonym of Colletes floralis Eversmann 1852 . Synonymized by Blüthgen 1930a: 147.

Remark. The species was described from the specimens of both sexes collected in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. There is only one specimen in ZISP, male, which corresponds to the original description of Morawitz. This specimen is designated here as a lectotype of Colletes montanus . The lectotype is conspecific with Colletes floralis Eversmann 1852 .
