Colletes tuberculatus Morawitz 1893: 80 –81. Type locality: “Serbent, Jagnob: Ravat, Turusch-Dara-Pass, Iskander-kul, Takfon, Kschtut, Darch” (Tadjikistan).

Types. Lectotype, ♂, designated here // “Turst., Jagnob, Varsaut, 1892, [leg.] Glasunov” [68º49'E 39º10'N], Tadjikistan // tuberculatus F. Mor., handwritten by F. Current status. Valid (Kuhlmann & Proshchalykin 2013).

Remark. The species was described from the specimens of both sexes collected in Tadjikistan. There is only one specimen in ZISP, male. This specimen is designated here as a lectotype of Colletes tuberculatus .
