Subfamily Symphrasinae Navás

This subfamily is endemic to the New World with a distribution ranging from the southern United States to northern Argentina, comprising 32 species in the genera Anchieta, Plega and Trichoscelia (Penny & da Costa 1983; Ohl 2004).
