Distribution: Common in deserts, arid steppes and wadis of the Euphrates Valley, around Palmyra and in the southwestern region (Fig. 56).
Previous records: Palmyra (Atallah & Harrison 1967), Halabiyyeh and Palmyra (Kock & Nader 1983), Palmyra, Qater Maghara and ar-Raqqa (Ebenau 1996), es-Salihiyyeh, Halabiyyeh, Qal’at er-Rahba, Zalabiyyeh, Palmyra, and Mount Hermon (Benda et al. 2006), Al-Misrab, Qal’at Najim, Halabiyyeh, es-Salihiyyeh, and Qal’at er-Rahba (Shehab et al. 2007).
