74. Savi’s Pipistrelle, Hypsugo savii (Bonaparte, 1837)

Subspecies: H. s. caucasicus Satunin, 1902 .

Distribution: Uncommon; confined to mountain caves in the Orontes Basin, as well as to the coastal and southwestern regions (Fig. 81).

Previous records: Hayalien, Slenfeh, Barqash, Bloudan, Maalula, Yabroud, Qatura, Qal’at Sheizar, Camp Faouar, and Mount Hermon (Benda et al. 2006), and Slenfeh (Al-Ramadan et al. 2020).
