3. Myrmica vastator HNS.

M. pallide flavo-testacea, laevis; abdomine nitido, apice fuscescenti.

Worker. Length 1 1/4 line. The head, thorax, antennae, legs, and petiole of the abdomen, pale yellow-testaceous; the head oblong quadrate; the eyes small, placed forwards on the side of the head; antennae clavate, the club formed of three joints; the thorax deeply strangulated between the meso- and meta-thorax; the latter without spines; the abdomen pale at its base, fuscous at its apex.
