Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Venezuela, no specific record, Brazil, from 11.50°S to 18.25°S (Leloup 1937; Shimabukuro 2007).

Habitat: polyp—on Ircinia sp. (Shimabukuro 2007).
