Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Brazil, at 3.81°S 32.39°W, at 3.93°S 32.42°W, at 8.05°S 34.79°W (Shimabukuro 2007; Amaral et al. 2009, 2010b).

Habitat: polyp—on sponges (Shimabukuro 2007).
